Convert to Writable (A) transforms the current PDF document into an editable state called Write mode, in which you can edit and manipulate contents, just like that way MS Word does. In Write mode, you may directly switch to Review mode anytime using Switch to Review Mode (B) to use the features therein. To remove writability, click  Prevent Further Edits (C) to permanently revert to Review mode unless you use the  Convert to Writable  feature again.

Do the following to switch to Write mode:

  1. Open a PDF file in Right PDF and choose Home/Advanced  > Convert to Writable .

  2. In the Convert to Writable dialog box, depending on the content of document, select either Document or Form. You may select the other options such as Preserve original layout or Conversion Range. Click Convert.

  3. A progress bar appears in the bottom-right corner of the document pane. You will enter Write mode after conversion is over.

Note: The time required for conversion varies according to size and complexity of the document. Once the Prevent Further Edits feature is executed, you need to start over to make it editable again.
