Collaborate on a PDF file
Collaboration empowers you to invite partners within the same LAN or on the internet to co-edit the same document concurrently. Other features include inviting/removing partners, setting up access code and using Secure Mode to ensure security.
Meeting Types
Right PDF offers two ways to collaborate: LAN and online.
LAN collaboration: No server needed. Only Right PDF (macOS) users in the same LAN can join.
Online collaboration: A server is required. Go to Preferences > Collaboration > Online Collaboration and specify a server URL.
Both have the same functionality, and the only difference is the type of network which determines who can join the meeting (LAN or Internet). However, you won’t be able to use the following features:
-
Texting editing
-
Convert to Writable
-
Batch numbering
-
Modify security settings
-
Handwritten signature
-
Sign & certify
-
Protect
-
Secure delivery
-
Microsoft AIP
-
Batch processing
